JR CHEER SPARTANS CHEERLEADING TEAM 2008-2009 

Whether you are a wrestler or a sibling of a wrestler, the FW Spartans encourage you to join the Spartans Cheerleading Team. Come be a part of a team that will emphasize balance between team support, pride, respect, and discipline with enthusiasm, smiles, and fun. 

OPEN TO AGES: 5 -12 years old

REGISTRATION FEE: There will be no registration fee. 

UNIFORM FEE: $85.00 for uniform package which will include the following:

Team shell & skirt, brief, hair bow, 1 pair of socks, pom-poms, and materials for arts, crafts, and games. *Wear your own white sneakers for the meet/tournament events.


NOTE: For ease and convenience to all participating families, REGISTRATION will take place simultaneously with wrestling registration on Wednesday, October 1st thru Friday, October 3rd. PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Practices will take place once a week running simultaneously with wrestling practice during the regular season at Illahee Middle School. Day of the week is yet to be determined.

PRACTICES WILL RUN AS FOLLOWS:

Warm-Up 15 minutes
Cheer Drills 45 minutes
Arts, Crafts & Games 30 minutes

ARTS, CRAFTS & GAMES WILL INCLUDE:

*personalizing your own megaphone & pillow
*banners & Varsity/JV poster decorations for meet competitions
*cheer drill competitions
*hair accessories creations
*friendship & anklet bracelets creations
