FW National Team

Wrestlers from ages 7 thru high school seniors will have an opportunity to earn a spot on our National Team.  Our goal for this year is to take every wrestler who qualifies. This will be a highly intensive folkstyle and freestyle program to prepare our wrestlers to compete in the USA National Championships in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Tournament is typically held in April and attracts some of the best wrestlers in the country. In preparation for Iowa the wrestlers will be required to compete in some key folkstyle and freestyle tournaments in both Washington and Oregon State. Wrestlers who earn a spot on our National Team will be eligible for financial assistance from the Federal Way Spartans Wrestling Club to help offset some of the cost. Qualifying criteria will be available at the beginning of the season.
